Job Details

Benefit : Allowance ($US150.00 and plus health and personal accident insurance cover)

Internship duration : Six months with possible extension

Report to : Finance Officer

Expected start date : 01st Week of October

Positio Summary : Finance Intern will work under direct supervision of Finance Officer with guidance from Operation Manager to ensure the overall procedures and accounting services operating smoothly and effectively.

Duties

  • Prepare journal and payment vouchers;
  • Ensure the completeness of fund request, settlement, as well as supporting documents prior to payments for staff or suppliers (invoice, receipts, request form, quotations…etc)
  • Handle and maintain petty cash and record it in the daily cash book;
  • Ensure the timely payment of expenses, bills and other related matters;
  • Manage filing system for financial documents
  • Support Finance Officer on posting vouchers into QuickBooks system
  • Contact suppliers on payment disbursement
  • Other tasks will be assigned by supervisor

  • Bachelors qualification in Accounting & Business Administration or other relevant degree
  • Experience
  • Essential
  • Available for both experienced or non-experienced
  • Desirable
  • Volunteering experiences in working with Accounting and Finance are desirable.
  • Knowledge and skills
  • Essential
  • Good command of Khmer Language (verbal and written);
  • Basic computer  (Ms. Word, Ms. Excel, PowerPoint, Email, Internet)
  • Good attitude, honesty, commitment,  friendly, good interpersonal  and team  preferable
  • Willing  learn  on Finance and  Accounting Field
  • Demonstrate attention  the work
  • Desirable
  • Written and spoken English
  • Good communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of Accounting software “QuickBooks” is desierable
